A Successful National Convention in Kenosha!

From June 27 to June 29, more than 700 Braver Angels members convened in Kenosha, WI to build connections, learn from one another, and learn about & further develop plans for healing the partisan divide in the coming months of another polarizing election.

Help bridge the partisan divide in Illinois

Building a House United

Launched in 2016, Braver Angels is a national citizens' movement to bring liberals, conservatives and others together at the grassroots level - not to find centrist compromise, but to find one another as citizens.

Braver Angels seeks to depolarize American politics. Our work is rooted in grassroots organizing. From the grassroots however, our volunteer leaders (supported by a small staff) leverage Braver Angels programs and unique organizing structure to impact community life and American institutions.

Citizens across Illinois are joining this movement to depolarize our politics. Chicagoland and Downstate; Urban and Rural; Liberals and Conservatives; Red and Blue; we are coming together in respect and civility, because we all want what is best for our country and our state.
